Team Building on the Water

Are you looking for a unique teambuilding experience? Seacoast Events has just the opportunity for you! We will provide your crew with a custom designed package that is sure to educate and entertain, while developing your group's ability to think and function as one unit. Sailing is a team sport, where success and failure are determined by the team's ability to cooperate and work together. Onboard a vessel, and in any successful business, each person has a role and must successfully complete certain tasks. Seacoast Events is proud to offer consultant-led programs onboard a replica privateer from the War of 1812. The Captain, a member of the American Sail Training Association, and crew will teach your group the art of navigation, setting and trimming the sails and steering this beautiful wooden vessel. After learning the ropes, your group will need to work as a team to plot a course, sail the vessel and maintain the vessel's position on the course. This is a true test of the group's progress as a team!
After successfully arriving back at the dock, there will be a debriefing session offering the group an opportunity to discuss the experiences of the day. This team building experience is available for single groups of up to thirty-eight people.
Larger groups can be serviced in a series of teambuilding experiences at a discounted rate. Packages can be designed to last anywhere between two and eight hours. Our staff of professional event planners will coordinate all the refreshments for your crew, whether a two hour session with coffee and pastries or a full day sail with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
